After the events of September 11, 2001, the nation turned to sports to help forget its worries and to remember the fallen. The image depicts an NFL football player saluting the American flag in the aftermath of 9/11, a reminder that sports are just a game, but that our country, our flag, our freedom, and our families are what’s important.
Sizes and editions
Sizes are listed by longest side: Mini (14"), Small (24"), Medium (30"), Large (36") and Full (60"). The other dimension varies with the proportions of each painting.
Medium is limited to 250 prints, Large to 100 and Full to 25, each signed and numbered by Dave Hobrecht. Mini and Small are open editions and aren't signed.
Canvas and care
Archival canvas print. Ships rolled, unframed and unstretched. Dust gently with a dry cloth and keep out of direct sunlight.
Shipping and returns
Orders ship within about a week. We ship worldwide, and delivery times vary by destination. Shipping is calculated at checkout.
