Live Event Painting

Painting live, in front of the crowd

Dave sets up where the crowd already is and works on an original piece while the event happens around him. Blank canvas at the start, a recognizable moment by the end.

What it's like

There's no reveal. People see the whole process: charcoal going down, getting wiped back, worked again. Guests stop, watch and come back later to see what's changed, and kids get close and ask questions while Dave works through all of it. For a host, it gives the room something happening that people move toward. For fans, it's the moment they came for being made by hand, a few feet away.

Sorting out the details

Everything practical is settled before the date: how long Dave paints, the subject, who keeps the finished piece, whether it's auctioned or presented, and what it costs.

Dave travels anywhere.
