Hobrecht Sports Art offers a fine art giclée edition print, printed on high quality archival canvas with archival ink, based on Dave Hobrecht's original charcoal and pastel painting for the University of Southern California, entitled “Trojan.”
The original "Trojan” painting was one in a series of pieces commissioned by USC. Hobrecht's portrait of a USC Trojans player in profile captures the dark intensity and focus of game day and highlights the iconic Trojans logo. That familiar and iconic Trojan head logo represents the long, legendary history of this storied college football program. The USC Trojans have earned 11 National Championships, won 24 Rose Bowls and boast 7 Heisman Trophy winners: Mike Garret, O.J. Simpson, Charles White, Carson Palmer, Matt Leinart and Reggie Bush.
The canvas prints are stretched and mounted and ready for custom framing or to hang directly on your office, bar or man cave wall. All prints are made and shipped directly from the Hobrecht Sports Art Gallery in Laguna Beach, California.
