Hobrecht Sports Art offers a fine art giclée edition print, printed on high quality archival canvas with archival ink, based on Dave Hobrechts original charcoal painting featuring Tony Gwynn.
In this timeless portrait of Mr. Padre, Tony Gwynn, Hobrecht captures the determined expression of one of San Diego's most beloved sports figures and one of baseball's greatest hitters. Gwynn was the best hitter of his time and he finished his illustrious 20-year career with a lifetime BA of .338 and 3,141 career hits. Gwynn was a 15-time all-star, won 5 Gold Gloves for his excellent fielding in right field, and he earned 8 NL batting titles. Gwynn hit .394 in 1994 and had an amazing five year stretch where he hit .358, .394, .368, .353 and .372.
Our canvas prints are always printed on the highest quality canvas paper using archival inks. Each one is guaranteed to be high-resolution and fade-resistant.
Our Maple Wood Prints are printed directly onto a 1/4 inch-thick, maple-surfaced wood board for a warm and natural look that is also eco-friendly. Each wood print is unique, and no two prints will look exactly alike.
