Hobrecht Sports Art offers a fine art giclée edition print, printed on high quality archival canvas with archival ink, based on Dave Hobrecht’s original charcoal painting of all-time great Boston Red Sox legend, baseball Hall of Famer and American war hero, Ted Williams.

Williams was nicknamed both Teddy Ballgame and the Splendid Splinter and was the greatest hitter of his generation. Williams earned two AL MVPs, two Triple Crowns, and was a 17-time All Star. He had a lifetime batting average of .344 and was the last Major Leaguer to hit .400 when he hit .406 in 1941. Not only did Williams hit for average, he was a prolific home run hitter, collecting 521 career homers despite missing three prime seasons while serving his country as a fighter pilot in World War II and parts of two other seasons as a combat aviator in the Korean War.

Our canvas prints are always printed on the highest quality canvas paper using archival inks. Each one is guaranteed to be high-resolution and fade-resistant.

Our Maple Wood Prints are printed directly onto a 1/4 inch-thick, maple-surfaced wood board for a warm and natural look that is also eco-friendly. Each wood print is unique, and no two prints will look exactly alike.
