Hobrecht Sports Art offers a fine art giclée edition print, printed on high quality archival canvas with archival ink, based on Dave Hobrecht’s original charcoal painting of Major League pitching legend and baseball Hall of Famer, Sandy Koufax.

This beautiful and timeless piece portrays an exuberant Sandy Koufax leaping for joy after a 1965 Game 7 World Series win for the Los Angeles Dodgers, a 3-hit, complete game shutout of the Minnesota Twins. In a Hall of Fame career cut short by arthritis, Koufax dominated National League opponents winning 25, 26 and 27 games in three of his last four seasons. He won the NL MVP award in 1963 as well as the Cy Young in '63, '65 and '66. In 1965, he had 382 strikeouts, a season record at the time. Koufax is remembered as one of the most dominating left-handed pitchers of all time and one of the most beloved players, especially among the Jewish community.

Our canvas prints are always printed on the highest quality canvas paper using archival inks. Each one is guaranteed to be high-resolution and fade-resistant.
