The San Francisco Giants beat the Texas Rangers 3-1 en route to winning their first World Series Championship since moving west in 1958. It came down to the pitching matchup we were initially expecting in Game 1 from Cliff Lee and Tim Lincecum, as both pitched tremendously. Through 6 2/3, Lee had allowed five hits and no runs. Over the last two games, only one Texas Ranger got past second base.
