San Diego Chargers Helmet Print

Hobrecht Sports Art offers a fine art giclée edition print, printed on high quality archival canvas with archival ink, based on Dave Hobrecht’s original charcoal painting featuring the helmet of the NFL’s San Diego Chargers helmet.

The club began play in 1960 as a charter member of the American Football League (AFL), and spent its first season in Los Angeles, before moving to San Diego in 1961. In the 1994 season, the Chargers made their first and, so far, only Super Bowl appearance, against the49ers in Super Bowl XXIX. They got to the Super Bowl by winning their first six regular season games, the only NFL team to do so in 1994, and finished the season 11–5. Though the Charger’s are in talks for relocation to Los Angeles, they currently reside in San Diego, CA.

The canvas prints are stretched and mounted onto wooden frames with hardware included, and are ready to hang. All prints are made and shipped directly from the Hobrecht Sports Art Gallery in Laguna Beach, California. The Medium and Large prints are signed and numbered by the artist, Dave Hobrecht.
