Hobrecht Sports Art offers a fine art giclée edition print, printed on high quality archival canvas with archival ink, based on Dave Hobrecht’s original charcoal painting, "Rabbit Hole” featuring surfing great, Wayne "Rabbit" Bartholomew.

Hobrecht’s piece portrays Bartholomew, the man responsible for landing the Australian Surfing Squad in trouble with Hawaiian officials in the 1970s, carving up another giant Pipeline wave. The painting was one of a series of surf paintings created for the 2009 surf movie, "Bustin’ Down the Door". Hobrecht spent much of his youth riding the waves of his hometown Huntington Beach, California, also known as, Surf City USA. Hobrecht started his career as a professional artist as Editorial Cartoonist for Surfer Magazine.

Our canvas prints are always printed on the highest quality canvas paper using archival inks. Each one is guaranteed to be high-resolution and fade-resistant.

Our Maple Wood Prints are printed directly onto a 1/4 inch-thick, maple-surfaced wood board for a warm and natural look that is also eco-friendly. Each wood print is unique, and no two prints will look exactly alike.
