Hobrecht Sports Art offers a fine art giclée edition print, printed on high quality archival canvas with archival ink, based on Dave Hobrecht’s original charcoal painting of baseball legend and career hits leader, Pete Rose.

With a career batting average of .303, Pete Rose collected 4,256 hits in his 24-year career – the most ever in Major League history. Hobrecht’s painting depicts the moment on September 11, 1985, in Cincinnati when Rose became the all-time hits leader, breaking the 57-year-old record for most career base hits (4,192) held by the legendary Ty Cobb.

The canvas prints are stretched and mounted onto wooden frames with hardware included, and are ready to hang. All prints are made and shipped directly from the Hobrecht Sports Art Gallery in Laguna Beach, California. The Medium and Large prints are signed and numbered by the artist, Dave Hobrecht.
