In this sweet painting, Hobrecht depicts the pure joy of a father and son entering a big league ballpark together for the first time. Although the seats are terrible, the two could not be happier to spend the day together watching a ball game. Hobrecht emphasizes the theme that it’s who you're with and not what you're doing that is important. The image resonates with every baseball fan who loves the game and enjoys fond memories of so many experiences surrounding our national pastime.
