Dave Hobrecht's original charcoal and pastel painting of New York Yankees closer Mariano Rivera, titled "Enter Sandman."
The piece was commissioned by Steiner Sports to commemorate Rivera's retirement from baseball in 2013. It depicts Rivera entering from the bullpen to close out a Yankees win. Rivera finished with a Major League record 652 career saves, led the majors in saves three times, and had 28 or more saves in 16 of his 19 big league seasons. He won 5 World Series titles with the Yankees and was the 1999 World Series MVP.
