Dave Hobrecht's original charcoal and pastel painting of Juan Marichal, the San Francisco Giants ace.
The hard throwing Dominican was one of the most intimidating pitchers of his era. Marichal won 243 games in his 16-year career, including 25 or more in three seasons, and finished with a career ERA of 2.89 and 52 career shutouts. The piece depicts his signature high leg kick windup and delivery.
