Dave Hobrecht's original charcoal and pastel painting of Pittsburgh Pirates great and Hall of Famer Honus Wagner.
Wagner is considered one of the best players of the dead ball era. He amassed 3,420 hits and a lifetime batting average of .328 over a 21-year career, and was part of the Baseball Hall of Fame's inaugural class elected in 1936.
He may be best known as the player on the most valuable baseball card in history, a 1909 American Tobacco Company card that sold to a private collector for more than $2.8 million.
