Dave Hobrecht's original charcoal and pastel painting of undefeated boxing champion Floyd Mayweather, titled "Mayweather: TBE."
The original 12-foot by 4-foot painting was commissioned by Mayweather Promotions. Its main body shows seven of Mayweather's most important fights before his unanimous decision victory over Manny Pacquiao on May 2. From left to right: Robert Guerrero (5/4/13), Miguel Cotto (5/5/12), Ricky Hatton (12/8/07), Oscar De La Hoya (5/5/07), Juan Manuel Marquez (9/19/09), Saul Canelo Alvarez (9/14/13) and Sugar Shane Mosley (5/1/10), with the De La Hoya victory as the centerpiece. The bottom panel follows his rise from Golden Gloves through his titles, with images of his uncle Roger Mayweather and his father, Floyd Sr., and ends with Floyd the businessman looking ahead to life after boxing.
The original was on display at the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas from April 25 through May 4, during Fight Week before the Mayweather/Pacquiao fight, and incorporated ring-used items from Mayweather's Las Vegas training gym.
