Although known today more as a legendary surfing icon and pioneer, Duke was also a 5-time Olympic medalist for the U.S. in swimming, including three Gold medals. Famed surf and sports artist, Dave Hobrecht grew up riding the waves of his hometown Huntington Beach, California, also known as, Surf City USA. He also began his career as a professional artist, as Editorial Cartoonist for Surfer Magazine.
