Detroit Lions Helmet Print

Hobrecht Sports Art offers a fine art giclée edition print, printed on high quality archival canvas with archival ink, based on Dave Hobrecht’s original charcoal painting featuring the NFL’s Detroit Lions helmet.

The team was purchased and relocated to Detroit for the 1934 season. The Lions have won four NFL championships, and tied for 9th overall in total championships amongst all 32 NFL franchises, despite never having played in a Super Bowl game. The #20 was retired specifically for former RB and Hall of Famer, Barry Sanders, even though the retired number was also worn by RB Billy Sims and DB Lem Barney, both of whom are also among the top all-time Lions at their positions.

The canvas prints are stretched and mounted onto wooden frames with hardware included, and are ready to hang. All prints are made and shipped directly from the Hobrecht Sports Art Gallery in Laguna Beach, California. The Medium and Large prints are signed and numbered by the artist, Dave Hobrecht.
