Royal Mack Print

Hobrecht Sports Art offers a fine art giclée edition print, printed on high quality archival canvas with archival ink, based on Dave Hobrecht’s original charcoal painting, "Royal Mack,” which was commissioned by the University of Texas Longhorns.

In “Royal Mack,” Hobrecht masterfully depicts two legendary football coaches from the University of Texas – Darrell Royal and Mack Brown. Despite their nearly 30 year age difference, Royal and Brown were close friends. In this remarkable portrayal, Hobrecht creates a masterpiece in which both coaches are pictured at around the age of 30, and both being carried off the field by the players of their respective eras. Hobrecht immortalizes both careers and unites the two friends in one unique and special piece that transcends the time between the illustrious careers of these two Texas coaching giants.
