Hobrecht Sports Art offers a fine art giclée edition print, printed on high quality archival canvas with archival ink, based on Dave Hobrecht’s original charcoal painting, "Baltimore Orioles ’66 World Series Champs.””

Hobrecht captures the Baltimore Orioles celebrating their 1966 World Series victory over the defending champion Los Angeles Dodgers. The depiction takes the iconic and familiar image of Brooks Robinson leaping for joy into the waiting arms of teammates, Dave McNally and Andy Etchebarren, but from a rarely seen vantage. Hobrecht spent more than 200 hours painstakingly recreating the magical moment when the O’s brought home the first World Series title in the franchise’s history. The image is almost photographic in its realism, but Hobrecht’s masterful brushwork freezes an eternal magic into this memorable moment.

Our canvas prints are always printed on the highest quality canvas paper using archival inks. Each one is guaranteed to be high-resolution and fade-resistant.

Our Maple Wood Prints are printed directly onto a 1/4 inch-thick, maple-surfaced wood board for a warm and natural look that is also eco-friendly. Each wood print is unique, and no two prints will look exactly alike.
