A high-quality reproduction of artist Dave Hobrecht's original black and white charcoal and pastel painting, "Grand Marshall", depicting NFL star, Pro Football Hall of Famer, and all-time San Diego State University great and Heisman Trophy runner-up, Marshall Faulk. Marshall Faulk was an instant star at San Diego State, running for a then-record 386 yards and 7 touchdowns in one game. Faulk rushed for 4,589 yards in 3 collegiate seasons with the Aztecs and amassed 62 career NCAA TDs. Faulk was selected number two overall in the 1994 NFL draft and soon became the prototypical elite Fantasy Football running back who could amass points by running and receiving. In 12 NFL seasons with the Indianapolis Colts and St. Louis Rams, Faulk rushed for 12,279 yards and 100 TDs and he caught 767 passes for 6,875 yards and 36 scores. Faulk, a 7-time Pro Bowler and 3-time All-Pro selection, was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2011. Hobrecht's original painting depicts Faulk running for one of his 3 TDs and some of the 220 yards he racked up in 31-31 tie against the mighty USC Trojans in 1994.
