Hobrecht Sports Art offers a fine art giclée edition print, printed on high quality archival canvas with archival ink, based on Dave Hobrecht’s original charcoal painting entitled, "Ghost Tree.”

Ghost Tree, named after the mysterious and legendary lone cypress growing on a cliff in the Pacific Ocean off Pebble Beach's 17 Mile Drive, is one of the most elusive and dangerous surf breaks in the world. Only the most daring and skilled big wave surfers attempt to conquer this fabled surf spot. Ghost Tree is known for its big waves and rocky, unforgiving shoreline that has proven fatal for many surfers. Hobrecht's "Ghost Tree" portrays one of those talented, brave surfers challenging one of the massive waves this surf spot dishes out.

Hobrecht spent much of his youth riding the waves of his hometown Huntington Beach, California, also known as, Surf City USA. Hobrecht started his career as a professional artist as Editorial Cartoonist for Surfer Magazine.

Our canvas prints are always printed on the highest quality canvas paper using archival inks. Each one is guaranteed to be high-resolution and fade-resistant.
