In Hobrecht’s original, the undersized Reed (6’9”) tips off against Wilt Chamberlain (7’1”) in the 1970 NBA Finals. What Reed lacked in size he made up for in heart. With the NBA Final Series tied 3 games each, Reed returned from an injury to inspire his team to a Game 7 win and the NBA title.
